In our fast paced world, it is my mission to make a child feel valued as an individual. I help to create an environment where a child feels they can achieve their goals and have the confidence to raise expectations of themselves. Realizing that learning can be an enjoyable process establishes a future with no boundaries! My name is Susan and I am a 4th grade teacher with over 30 years of experience in different grades ranging from kindergarten to 8th grade. For the last 25 years, I have been tutoring elementary school students in language arts literacy, and math. In 2000 and 2001, I was named one of “Who’s Who of America’s Teachers.” I received my B.S. in Elementary Education from Trenton State College, now known as The College of New Jersey, and attained a Master’s in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College. I have also taken additional postgraduate credits in technology and teaching coursework from the University of Phoenix. I enjoy providing students with a learning environment focused on a multisensory approach.
